Alabama still No. 1, LSU big risers in Top 25

Alabama remains atop the updated AP Top 25 released Tuesday.

The Crimson Tide, fresh off a 51-14 rout of Louisville, received 48 first-place votes and are still immediately trailed by Clemson and Georgia, respectively.

Ohio State and Wisconsin swapped spots, with the Buckeyes up to No. 4 and Badgers down to No. 5.

The biggest riser of the week is LSU, up from No. 25 to No. 11 after a 33-17 upset of then-No. 8 Miami on Sunday night. The Hurricanes slipped to No. 22.

Rounding out the Top 10 are Oklahoma (up one spot to No. 6), Auburn (up two spots to No. 7), Notre Dame (up four spots to No. 8), Washington (down three spots to No. 9) and Stanford (up three spots to No. 10).

Penn State fell three spots and out of the top 10 at No. 13.

New additions this week include South Carolina (No. 24) and Florida (No. 25). Florida State (formerly No. 19) and Texas (No. 23) are off the list.
