Giants sign 3 draft picks, slew of undrafted rookies

The New York Giants have signed three of their six 2018 draft picks, the team announced on Friday.

The club also added 11 undrafted free agents as it opens a three-day rookie minicamp on the same day.

Guard Will Hernandez, a second-round pick, linebacker Lorenzo Carter (third) and quarterback Kyle Lauletta (fourth) all signed their deals, leaving just three players left to get under contract.

No. 2 overall pick Saquon Barkley remains unsigned, but is expected to receive a four-year deal worth $31.2 million, per salary-tracking website spotrac.com.

Among the undrafted free agents the Giants brought in were three offensive linemen and four defensive backs.

In a separate move, the Giants waived first-year tackle Laurence Gibson.
