The Iowa State Cyclones are adjusting to the loss of offensive coordinator Tom Manning by moving three assistants into new roles ahead of spring workouts.
Passing game coordinator Jim Hofher will become the senior offensive analyst and assistant to head coach Matt Campbell, the school announced on Friday.
Also, graduate assistant Jim Myers is being promoted to offensive line coach and Joel Gordon will take over as quarterbacks coach.
Joe Houston was also named as an assistant, in charge of special teams.
Hofher brings a ton of experience, having spent 37 years in coaching -- 13 as a head coach at Cornell and Buffalo.
Gordon's previous role was as offensive analyst over the last two seasons, which were also two of the best offensive seasons in Cyclones' history.
Iowa State finished the 2017 regular season at 7-5 and capped its year with a 21-20 win over Memphis in the Liberty Bowl.
Manning left to join the Indianapolis Colts as tight ends coach.
