LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball haven’t even played a game in Lithuania yet, but their expected debut is driving up the price of tickets.
The Balls are expected to make their debut for Vytautas Prienai on Jan. 9 against BC Tsmoki-Minsk in a Baltic Basketball League contest. Prices on ticket retailer Tiketa start at 7.30 Euros, which is about $8.60. Before the Ball’s agreed to contracts, the tickets started at 2.40 Euro ($2.83), according to For The Win.
Every game Prienai game after Jan. 9 on Tiketa starts at 7.30 Euros.
More details are being revealed about the Balls’ future adventures in Lithuania.
ESPN’s Fran Fraschilla, who coached St. John’s from 1996-98, revealed some interesting information about Prienai coach Virginijus Šeškus, including that he sold meat out of the trunk of his car.
Prominant former American player who played for Ball brothers's new coach had some insight on him: 1. Competent coach w/free-wheeling pick-and-roll offense. 2. Speaks no English 3. Screams the entire game. 4. Sold meat out of his car trunk to his players after practice. I swear.

The Sporting News reported the Balls will live at Vytautas Mineral Spa, a luxury resort. According to the spa’s web site:
“The wellness and relaxation complex Vytautas Mineral SPA is located on a 9-hectare plot of land. The complex with an area of over 12,000 sq m has 164 rooms for 350 guests. A 715-metre deep source of mineral water, which in terms of mineralisation and properties resembles the water of the Dead Sea, is only 20 metres away from the facilities. The unique water has a positive effect when treating nervous, digestive and joint diseases and for reducing stress. The services and the building interiors of Vytautas Mineral SPA merge to create a unity that will be beneficial for your body and soul. This is why the SPA corridors have rounded, smooth shapes.”
