Danica Patrick’s final Indianapolis 500 ended on the 68th lap when she crashed her car in Turn 2 on Sunday.
Patrick lost control as she entered the turn and her green GoDaddy Chevrolet hit the wall and rolled backward toward the infield during Sunday’s 102nd running of the race.
Patrick, 36, got out the car and didn’t appear to suffer any serious injuries.
The Indy 500 is the final race of Patrick’s career. She finished in the top 10 at Indy six different times.
Patrick competed in her final NASCAR race — the Daytona 500 — in February.
