Redshirt freshman N’Kosi Perry will start at quarterback for Miami on Saturday, head coach Mark Richt announced Thursday.
The Hurricanes (5-4, 2-3 ACC) will play at Georgia Tech (5-4, 3-3).
Richt has employed a revolving door at quarterback this season. Fifth-year senior Malik Rosier started Weeks 1 through 4, then Perry started the next three games, and Miami returned to Rosier the past two weeks. The Hurricanes have lost three games in a row.
This will be the fourth career start for Perry, who most recently started Oct. 13 in a loss to Virginia.
On the season, Rosier is 77-of-144 passing (53.5 percent) for 1,007 yards and six touchdowns. Perry has completed 55 of 105 pass attempts (52.4 percent) for 701 yards and 11 scores. Both have been intercepted five times.
