Toronto Raptors star Kawhi Leonard will miss a third straight game Tuesday night due to “load management,” according to the official NBA injury report. The Raptors play host to the Sacramento Kings. It marks the eighth game that Leonard has missed due to rest/load management and 12th game overall. He missed Saturday’s game against the Grizzlies for the same reason. He also missed Toronto’s Jan. 17 game against the Suns, which was the second game of a back-to-back. The Raptors won both of those games. Leonard last played Jan. 16 at Boston, scoring 33 points in the Raptors’ 117-108 loss to the Celtics. Leonard also reportedly missed Monday’s practice for a scheduled doctor’s appointment, but the team insists he’s healthy. Leonard is No. 5 in the NBA in scoring at 27.6 points per game.
