LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball are in serious talks to sign professional basketball contracts with Lithuanian club Prienu Vytautas, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Jonathan Givony report.
The club intends to make a decision regarding signing the two in the next 24-to-48 hours, according to the report.
LiAngelo, the middle of the Ball brothers, younger than the Los Angeles Lakers’ Lonzo, withdrew from UCLA last week after the school suspended him indefinitely following a shoplifting incident in China. LaMelo, a junior in high school, dropped out not long after.
Late last week, father LaVar Ball told ESPN that LiAngelo and LaMelo signed with agent Harrison Gaines and the plan was for the two to play on the same team overseas.
LiAngelo and LaMelo could each see 20-to-25 minutes a game for Vytautus’ less-competitive Baltic League team, according to the report.
