The Connecticut Huskies have suspended forward Eric Cobb indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team.
No details of his misconduct were given.
The 6-9 Cobb joined the Huskies after playing a year of junior college ball at Chipola College.
He started his college career at South Carolina, but ran into legal trouble and left the school after his freshman season. During his time with the Gamecocks he was arrested for a string of vandalism incidents involving a BB gun and possession of marijuana.
He has played in 11 games for the Huskies, including two starts, but averaged just 2.1 points and 3.2 rebounds. His role diminished with the team after he failed to play the role coach Kevin Ollie expected of him, according to the Hartford Courant.
