Wisconsin inside linebacker T.J. Edwards announced Tuesday that he is returning for his senior season.
Edwards earned several first-team All-American honors and was one of the biggest standouts for a team that won a school-record 13 games.
“I couldn’t be more excited for my senior season at Wisconsin!” Edwards said on his Twitter account. “This program means the world to me and I can’t wait to get back to work to finish what we started.”
Edwards recorded 81 tackles and intercepted four passes in 2017. He also registered 11 tackles for loss, including two sacks.
Edwards recently stated that the NFL Draft Advisory Board didn’t rate him as either a first- or second-round pick.
