Wisconsin tailback Bradrick Shaw and tight end Zander Neuville will miss the remainder of the season with injuries suffered in last week’s win over Minnesota, the school announced on Friday.
Shaw suffered a left leg injury against the Gophers. He is second on the team with 365 yards on 96 carries with four touchdowns this season, and also has three receptions for 31 yards. Chris James replaced him against Minnesota and rushed for 51 yards on seven carries in the 31-0 victory.
Jonathan Taylor leads the Badgers with 1,806 yards and 13 touchdowns on 258 carries. James is fourth with 217 yards on 39 carries. He has yet to reach the end zone.
Neuville injured his right knee against Minnesota. He is sixth on the team with nine catches for 81 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Kyle Penniston took over as the No. 2 tight end against the Gophers and caught a five-yard touchdown pass.
