The A’s jumped on Gore in the first. Langeliers led off with a homer and Nick Kurtz followed with a single and went to third on Rooker’s double. Bleday singled home both runners and Hernaiz homered to make it 5-0.

In the third, Colby Thomas walked, went to third on a Hernaiz single and scored on a single by Tyler Soderstrom.

Kurtz led off the fourth with a double and scored on Rooker’s single to make it 7-0 and end Gore’s night. Bleday greeted reliever Clayton Beeter with a two-run homer and the lead was 9-0.

Washington scored in the fourth when Garcia singled and later scored on a single by Brady House.

Langeliers led off the fifth with his second home run and the score was 10-1.

In the bottom of the sixth, CJ Abrams singled, James Wood was hit by a pitch and Garcia singled to load the bases. Lowe walked to force in a run and House added a sacrifice fly to make it 10-3.

Langeliers struck again in the sixth, homering to center to increase the lead to 11-3, and Hernaiz later hit a sacrifice fly to score Kurtz, who had singled.

Kurtz had three hits, walked twice and scored four runs.

Rooker and Bleday each hit two-run doubles in the eighth to make it 16-3.
