KT Rolster continue strong start at World Championships

KT Rolster, Top Esports, CTBC Flying Oyster and Anyone’s Legend improved to 2-0 in Thursday’s Swiss Stage action at the $5 million League of Legends 2025 World Championship in Beijing.

KT Rolster defeated Secret Whales in 28 minutes on blue, Top Esports beat 100 Thieves in 26 minutes on blue, CTBC Flying Oyster beat T1 in 32 minutes on blue, and Anyone’s Legend downed Gen.G Esports in 32 minutes on red in the Round 2 high matches.

Teams need three wins in the five-round Swiss Stage to reach the Knockout Stage, while teams with three losses will be eliminated. All matches are best-of-one except for elimination and advancement matches, which are best-of-three.

Eight teams will make the Knockout Stage, a single-elimination bracket starting Oct. 28 where all matches are best-of-five. The winner of the Nov. 9 grand final will earn $1 million, with $800,000 going to the runner-up.

In Thursday’s Round 2 low matches, Flyquest defeated Keyd Stars in 31 minutes on red, G2 Esports beat KOI in 28 minutes on red, Bilibili Gaming triumphed over Fnatic in 28 minutes on blue, and Hanwha Life took down PSG Talon in 28 minutes on blue.
