Perhaps the third time’s a charm for Jake Paul and Tommy Fury.
MMA Fighting reported Tuesday that Paul-Fury is a “done deal” for Feb. 25, with the venue for the boxing match to be determined.
Paul-Fury I was first set to take place in December 2021 in Tampa, Fla. But Fury pulled out in the 11th hour with an injury/illness. Paul ended up fighting and beating Tyron Woodley.
Paul-Fury II was then set for August in New York, but Fury was denied entry to the U.S. and had to bail. Paul ended up fighting and defeating Anderson Silva in October instead.
Paul, who turned 26 on Tuesday, is 6-0 with four knockouts.
Fury, 23, is the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. He is 8-0 with four knockouts.
