Geekay Esports bounces back after 1st loss at OWCS NA Stage 3

Geekay Esports bounced back from taking its first loss the day before with a Sunday sweep at the Overwatch Champions Series 2025 — North America Stage 3 to improve to 5-1 in the event.

NTMR also came away with a 3-0 sweep over Team Z to get back to a 3-3 record with its second straight win.

The online tournament features eight teams. Week 6 is scheduled for Oct. 11-12 and will wrap up the pool-play portion with five final matches.

The top six teams in the standings will advance to the double-elimination regional playoffs. The top three finishers in the playoffs will earn Overwatch Champions Series 2025 World Finals invitations as well as cash prizes of $30,000 (first), $20,000 (second) and $14,500 (third). Lower finishers will earn less: $10,500 for fourth, $7,500 for fifth and sixth and $5,000 for seventh and eighth.

Geekay Esports faced little resistance in its 3-0 win over DhillDucks (0-6), winning 2-0 on Samoa, 2-1 on King’s Row and 1-0 on Junkertown. With the win, Geekay moves into second place past Spacestation Gaming (5-1) on map differential.

NTMR also won convincingly over Team Z (1-5), sweeping with a 2-0 win on Samoa, a 142.41m to 51.23m win on Esperanca and a 1-0 win on Watchpoint: Gibraltar. With the win, NTMR moved past Sakura Esports into fourth place on map differential.
