NOTES: Tiger Woods will make his 2020 debut while seeking to set the PGA Tour record for career victories that he currently shares with Sam Snead (82). … Also making their 2020 debuts will be Rory McIlroy and Jason Day. … Woods is attempting to make the Farmers the third event he has won a record eight times (Arnold Palmer Invitational, WGC-FedEx St. Jude). He has won seven of his 18 starts in this event, with five other top-10s. However, his most recent of those was a victory in 2013 … Rose seeks to become the event’s first repeat champion since Woods (2005-08). … The field boasts 18 of the top 30 players in the FedEx Cup standings and seven of the top 15 players in the Official World Golf Rankings, let by No. 2 McIlroy, No. 3 John Rahm, No. 6 Woods and No. 8 Rose. … Phil Mickelson is a three-time event winner (1993, 2000-01).

BEST BETS: McIlroy (+660 by DraftKings) is competing for the first time since November, but also finished T5 in his first Farmers appearance last year. He also has four wins and 10 other top-10s in his past 20 worldwide starts. … Rahm (+775) also posted a T5 last year. His past 10 worldwide starts includes two wins and six more top-10s … Woods (+1100) hasn’t played a full-field event since October, which he won in Japan, but he did go 3-0-0 at the Presidents Cup last month after also competing at his Hero World Challenge event the week before. … Tony Finau (+2500) only has one career PGA Tour victory, but many believe he is due for a prominent breakthrough. He was T13 at Torrey Pines last year and T4 in 2017. He’s coming off a T14 at The American Express, where he shot a tourney-low 62 in the second round. … Day (+4500) is a longshot while making his return from another back injury, but is a two-time champion (2015, ’18).
