Notre Dame running back Tony Jones announced Tuesday that he is bypassing his senior season and entering the 2020 NFL Draft.
Jones rushed for 857 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games this season.
“The last four years at Notre Dame have been greater than I ever imagined,” Jones wrote in his announcement posted on Twitter. “This university has helped me grow as a player, but more importantly as a man.”

Overall, Jones rushed for 1,481 yards and 12 touchdowns on 271 carries for the Fighting Irish. He also caught 27 passes for 273 yards and two scores. Jones is expected to be a mid-round choice in the draft.
