The Professional Women’s Hockey League announced Monday that it will play 16 regular-season games at 11 neutral sites across the U.S. and Canada during the 2025-26 season.

It’s an expansion from last season when the “PWHL Takeover Tour” drew 123,601 fans for nine games.

The tour will visits seven new cities this season: Chicago, Dallas and Washington, D.C., in the U.S., and Calgary, Halifax, Hamilton and Winnipeg in Canada. The PWHL returns to Denver, Detroit, Edmonton and Quebec City.

Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Edmonton and Halifax will each host two games.

The eight-team PWHL, including expansion clubs in Seattle and Vancouver, opens its third season on Nov. 21.
