Jack Roslovic scored in overtime for the second straight game, lifting the Edmonton Oilers to a 2-1 road victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday.

Just over a minute into OT, Philadelphia’s Cam York mishandled a puck near center ice, giving Matt Savoie and Roslovic a 2-on-0 breakaway. Savoie slipped a pass across to Roslovic, who roofed a one-timer past Dan Vladar at 1:19. Roslovic also netted the game-winner in Edmonton’s 5-4 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday.

Evan Bouchard also scored in this one for the Oilers, who were playing the opener of a seven-game road trip. Savoie finished with two assists, and Stuart Skinner made 20 saves for the visitors.

Vladar made 30 stops for Philadelphia, which had a goal overturned in the final minute of regulation. Matvei Michkov scored the only goal for the Flyers, who have lost four straight home games (0-2-2).

Devils 4, Blackhawks 3 (OT)

Simon Nemec notched a hat trick, including the game-winner at 3:26 of overtime, boosting visiting New Jersey to a victory against Chicago.

Nemec registered the first multigoal game of his three-season career as New Jersey won for the third time in four games (3-0-1). Dawson Mercer scored a goal, Jack Hughes logged two assists and Jacob Markstrom made 17 saves for the Devils.

Connor Bedard, Landon Slaggert and Sam Lafferty were the Blackhawks’ goal-scorers. Nick Foligno and Louis Crevier recorded two assists apiece, and Spencer Knight stopped 33 shots for Chicago, which had won three in a row.

Rangers 7, Lightning 3

Will Cuylle, J.T. Miller and Alexis Lafreniere tallied on New York’s first three shots, and the team continued its road prowess in a shellacking of Tampa Bay.

The trio strung together their goals in the opening 7:08, setting up the Rangers’ eighth win in 10 road games (8-1-1) and fifth straight victory away from home. Cuylle and Vincent Trocheck hit the net twice each and Will Borgen also scored. Artemi Panarin recorded four assists as 11 Rangers posted points. Igor Shesterkin made 33 saves.

In losing for the first time in five home games, the Lightning received goals from Scott Sabourin, Zemgus Girgensons and Jake Guentzel. Jack Finley and Curtis Douglas notched their first NHL points with assists on Sabourin’s tally. Tampa Bay goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy surrendered five goals on 13 shots.

Mammoth 5, Sabres 2

Utah scored five unanswered goals to rally for a win over visiting Buffalo.

JJ Peterka, Nick Schmaltz and Clayton Keller each had a goal and an assist for the Mammoth, who have two wins in their past seven games — both against Buffalo. Nick DeSimone and Lawson Crouse also scored, and Karel Vejmelka made 17 saves.

Isak Rosen scored twice and Colten Ellis made 32 saves for the Sabres, who squandered a 2-0 lead. Buffalo has lost four straight (0-3-1) and remains winless on the road (0-4-2).
