The San Francisco Giants reinstated catcher Patrick Bailey from the 10-day injured list on Thursday.
Bailey, 25, last played on Aug. 18 before being sidelined with a strained right oblique.
He missed time earlier this season with two stints on the seven-day concussion injured list.
Bailey is batting .233 with seven home runs and 38 RBIs in 96 games in his second season with the Giants.
A first-round pick (13th overall) in 2020, he is a career .233 hitter with 14 homers and 86 RBIs in 193 games.
San Francisco designated catcher Andrew Knapp, 32, for assignment in a corresponding transaction.
