An MRI this week revealed a stress reaction in the left tibia of Cincinnati Reds left-hander Nick Lodolo.
He is in a walking boot and will be re-evaluated in two weeks, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported Wednesday.
The Reds placed Lodolo on the 15-day injured list on Sunday.
He is 2-1 with a 6.29 ERA in seven starts this season. He has struck out 47 batters in 34 1/3 innings but also leads the major leagues in hit-by-pitches (seven) and the National League in home runs allowed (10).
The seventh overall pick in the 2019 draft, Lodolo went 4-7 with a 3.66 ERA in 19 starts as a rookie last season.
