The Detroit Tigers activated Will Vest from the paternity list Thursday and optioned fellow right-hander Mason Englert to Triple-A Toledo.
Vest, 29, is 3-4 with a 3.20 ERA and one save in 57 relief appearances for the Tigers this season. He has a career 3.91 ERA over 196 outings (six starts) in four seasons with the Seattle Mariners (2021) and Tigers.
Englert, 24, is 1-0 with a 5.40 ERA in 12 appearances (one start) for the Tigers this season.
