FC Dallas defender Geovane Jesus will miss his second straight season with a knee injury, the team announced on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old Brazilian had surgery Monday to address cartilage damage in his right knee and was placed on the season-ending injury list.
He also missed the entire 2024 campaign while recovering from a torn ACL sustained in a September 2023 practice.
Jesus made his MLS debut in 2023 and tallied two assists in 19 matches (11 starts) for FC Dallas.
