New York City FC have loaned forward Jovan Mijatovic to Belgium’s Oud-Heverlee Leuven.
The deal announced Friday for the 19-year-old Serbian international runs through June 30.
Mijatovic made his MLS debut in 2024 and recorded 17 appearances across all competitions.
He scored his first goal in a Leagues Cup match against Cincinnati on Aug. 5.
“We’re pleased that we have been able to find a destination in Europe at a competitive level in Belgium’s top division for Jovan to play regular football, which is critical for his continued development at this age,” NYCFC sporting director David Lee said.
