Sporting Kansas City signed homegrown midfielder Jacob Bartlett through the 2027 season on Thursday.
The deal includes club options for 2028 and 2029 for the 19-year-old from Overland Park, Kan.
Bartlett appeared in 16 matches last fall (one goal) as a freshman at Notre Dame. He played with MLS NEXT Pro affiliate Sporting KC II in 2023 and 2024.
He is the younger brother of D.C. United defender Lucas Bartlett.
Sporting KC opens the 2025 MLS regular season at Austin FC on Feb. 22.
