The 2023 WNBA Draft will be held at Spring Studios in New York on April 10, the league announced Thursday.
WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert will announce the selections live on ESPN. The three-round, 36-pick draft begins at 7 p.m. ET.
“We anticipate hosting a truly memorable evening for WNBA teams and fans and, especially, for the incredible athletes for whom this night represents the launch of the next phase of their basketball journey, and the realization of a dream come true,” Engelbert said.
The Indiana Fever possess the top overall pick of the draft.
The consensus favorite for the No. 1 overall selection is South Carolina forward Aliyah Boston, who received National Player of the Year honors a season ago.
The Minnesota Lynx own the second selection, while the Dallas Wings will sandwich the Nos. 3 and 5 picks around the selection of the Washington Mystics.
The WNBA’s 27th season begins with four games on May 19.
