The Buffalo Bills won’t have safety Micah Hyde or defensive tackles Jordan Phillips and Ed Oliver for Sunday’s game at Miami.
As expected, cornerback Dane Jackson also was ruled out on Friday with a neck injury sustained in a scary collision during Monday night’s 41-7 win over the Tennessee Titans.
Hyde (neck) and Phillips (hamstring) also were injured in Monday’s victory and have been unable to practice this week. Oliver (ankle) was limited in practice all three days before being ruled out on Friday.
Hyde, 31, has seven tackles through two games this season, his sixth campaign with Buffalo and 10th in the NFL.
Phillips, 30, has six tackles, four QB hits and 1.5 sacks through two games. He began his career as a second-round pick of the Dolphins in 2015.
Oliver, 24, made two tackles in the Bills’ 31-10 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sept. 8 before sitting out last week’s game against the Titans.
Wide receiver Gabe Davis (ankle), tight end Dawson Knox (foot), safety Jordan Poyer (foot), defensive tackle Tim Settle (calf) and center Mitch Morse (elbow) were limited in Friday’s practice. All five players are questionable for Sunday’s game versus the Dolphins.
