Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers remains in concussion protocol as Las Vegas made final preparations Friday for the Week 2 game at Buffalo.
Meyers caught two touchdowns in his first game with the team, a 17-16 victory at Denver, but hasn’t practiced this week due to the head injury suffered making a fourth-quarter catch over the middle before taking a big hit from Broncos defensive back Kareem Jackson.
Raiders coach Josh McDaniels said Friday he would consider Meyers “unlikely” to play against the Bills. He’ll officially be listed as doubtful.
Without Meyers, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is likely to look Davante Adams’ way more often. Meyers caught nine of Garoppolo’s 20 completions at Denver. Adams had six receptions for 66 yards.
Meyers, 26, signed with the Raiders as a free agent after playing the previous four seasons with the New England Patriots.
