Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was ruled out in the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals after suffering an ankle injury.
Beckham appeared to sustain the injury on the game’s opening drive, after which he left the game to receive medical attention on the bench.
He returned to the game, notching three catches for 29 yards, before being pulled in the third quarter.
The Ravens already entered Week 2 minus five starters, with running back J.K. Dobbins (Achilles) on injured reserve and safety Marcus Williams (pectoral), offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley (knee), center Tyler Linderbaum (ankle) and cornerback Marlon Humphrey (foot) all inactive.
A three-time Pro Bowl selection, Beckham has recorded 536 catches for 7,433 yards and 56 touchdowns in 98 career games (93 starts) with the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Rams and Baltimore Ravens. He exceeded 1,000 receiving yards in five of his first six seasons.
