UCLA reclaimed the No. 1 ranking in the Associated Press Top 25 poll released Monday following a weekend run to the Big Ten tournament title.
The Bruins (30-2) climbed three spots and received 16 of 32 first-place votes after beating rival Southern California in Sunday’s final.
No. 2 South Carolina (30-3) also rose three spots and collected nine votes after knocking off previously top-ranked Texas in the Southeastern Conference championship game.
No. 3 UConn (30-3) held onto its ranking and received the other seven votes, followed by the Trojans (28-3) and Longhorns (31-3).
No. 6 TCU (31-3) moved up two places for its highest ranking in program history after winning the Big 12 tourney. ACC champion Duke (26-7), Notre Dame (26-5), North Carolina State (26-6) and LSU (28-5) round out the top 10.
