The Los Angeles Chargers signed veteran defensive lineman Nick Williams on Friday.
The signing of Williams gives the Chargers added depth in the interior of the line.
Williams, 33, played in eight games (seven starts) for the New York Giants last season and had 15 tackles.
He has made 37 of his 42 NFL starts over the past three seasons. He played for the Detroit Lions in 2020-21.
His best season came in 2019 when he had six sacks for the Chicago Bears. He has 7.5 career sacks in 83 games.
Williams also has played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins. He has 125 career tackles.
