St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Marcell Ozuna is scheduled to have an MRI on Thursday, a day after he was removed from the starting lineup with soreness in his right side, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. A Cardinals official said Ozuna is day-to-day with tightness in his rib area. He was removed from the starting lineup after batting practice prior to the game. The Post-Dispatch reported there is concern that Ozuna has a strained muscle in his rib area. Ozuna is hitting .238 in five games so far this season. Ozuna has yet to homer in 21 plate appearances. Ozuna was hampered by chronic shoulder issues last season, resulting in a disabled list stint in August. –Field Level Media
