Florida guard Andrew Nembhard will withdraw from the 2020 NBA Draft and enter the NCAA transfer portal, Stadium’s Jeff Goodman reported Saturday.
The 6-foot-5 sophomore averaged 11.2 points, 5.6 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 31 games for the Gators in 2019-20. Nembhard made the SEC All-Freshman team in 2018-19 after averaging 8.0 points, 5.4 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 36 games. He was the first freshman to start every game at Florida since Bradley Beal in 2011-12.
Nembhard, 20, is a native of Aurora, Ontario. He competed for Canada’s senior national team at the 2019 FIBA World Cup.
