UCLA big man Jalen Hill has decided to remain with the Bruins and withdraw his name from NBA draft consideration.
Hill, a 6-foot-10 forward/center, will be a redshirt junior in the 2020-21 season. Last season, he played in 30 games (25 starts) and led the Bruins with 6.9 rebounds per game. He also averaged nine 9.0 points and shot a team-leading 53.3 percent from the field. He was an honorable mention Pac-12 All-Defensive Team selection.
Junior guard Chris Smith also has entered his name for draft consideration but has until June 3 to change his mind.
The Bruins finished last season with a 19-12 (12-6 Pac-12) record, coming on late under new head coach Mick Cronin by winning seven of their last eight games and nine of their last 11.
The NBA Draft is scheduled for June 25 but could be postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
