Warriors' Cousins day-to-day after MRI

The sore right foot of Golden State Warriors’ center DeMarcus Cousins isn’t a serious ailment, an MRI exam confirmed Monday.
The team announced that the test results were clean. Coach Steve Kerr previously had said the MRI was a precaution.
Cousins. who had been ruled out of Monday night’s game at the San Antonio Spurs, is considered day-to-day. The Warriors play Tuesday night at Minnesota on a back-to-back and are home against Indiana on Thursday.
Cousins has played in 21 games for Golden State, all starts, after missing about a calendar year because of a torn left Achilles tendon, suffered when he was with the New Orleans Pelicans. He is averaging 15.6 points and 7.9 rebounds for Golden State.
The four-time All-Star played Saturday in a win at Oklahoma City, posting 12 points, eight rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks in 27 minutes.
