XFL odds: Defenders climb into title picture

One week into the XFL season and a new betting favorite has come to the table.

The DC Defenders climbed thanks to a 31-19 win over the Seattle Dragons in Week 1 of the 2020 XFL season.

According to BetAmerica, the Defenders and New York Guardians — who made a slight move up from +375 to win the 2020 championship — are now even as the favorites for the end-of-season title.

DC was +500 but rose to +350 to share the top line with the Guardians.

Houston was +800 prior to Week 1, but dropped to +500.

No team dropped more than the Dallas Renegades. A loss to the St. Louis BattleHawks took Dallas from +325 and among the favorites to +600.
