Defender Zorhan Bassong signed a one-year contract with Sporting Kansas City on Tuesday with club options for 2025 and 2026.
Financial terms were not disclosed by the club for Bassong, who will occupy an international slot pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate and P1 visa.
Bassong, 24, recorded one assist in 36 career matches (14 starts) with CF Montreal in 2021-22. The Canadian then spent 2023 in Romania with Arges Pitesti and Farul Constanta.
