Field Level Media was founded by sports media executives with more than 40 years of combined experience working with print and digital content platforms with the most influential media companies in the industry.
Our mission is to bring engaging, quick-hitting and well-written sports news and analysis direct to sports fans on the devices they consume content on.
How do we do that?
FLM has a North American focus while tying into regional and hyper-local resources – providing the ability to distribute compelling content through 200+ professional journalists. As the U.S. sports content provider for dozens of digital and print media publishers through strategic partnerships with the likes of Reuters, Stats Perform and Gracenote Sports, FLM covers the nuts and bolts with a breaking news desk and game event coverage.
But FLM is built for the current digital age, with deep ties and strategic partnerships with photo, data and odds partners. Our feeds can be customized to the client and the platform to include photos, videos and/or embedded social media elements. FLM also has a full esports wire, complete with content from esports experts from around the globe.
FLM has deep ties within the industry, and we work with numerous companies on one-off projects as well. Need a specialized package around the NBA Draft or custom hyper-local betting content? Tap our nation-wide network of professional writers and editors for high quality content for far less than most departments can produce it internally.
Field Level Media has a 20-hour news desk, where editors work in a virtual newsroom alongside a team of veteran managing editors.
Our wire service distributes more than 30,000 stories in a typical year, including a breaking news wire and coverage of more than 7,000 annual events. All content is produced by a network of more than 200 professional journalists.
Interested in working for FLM? Qualified candidates must have a thorough grasp of AP Style, a deep knowledge of U.S. sports and editors must have access to a PC (No Macs). Please email your resume and writing samples to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Internships also available for qualified journalism students.
