The Minnesota Wild recalled rookie defenseman Daemon Hunt and forward Jake Lucchini from American Hockey League affiliate Iowa on Tuesday.
Lucchini, 28, was recalled under emergency conditions. He played in 11 games in 2022-23 with the Ottawa Senators, recording one power-play goal in 11 games.
Lucchini has played one NHL game this season — on Saturday against the Boston Bruins — for the Wild, who signed him as a free agent to a one-year, two-way contract in July.
Hunt, 21, made his NHL debut with the Wild on Oct. 27 at the Washington Capitals, and has one assist in nine games. Minnesota selected him in the third round (No. 65 overall) of the 2020 NHL Draft.
