Colorado Rapids leading goal scorer Rafael Navarro has signed a deal with the club through the 2027 season, the Denver Post reported Wednesday.
Navarro, 24, is tied for sixth in MLS with 11 goals this season while playing on a one-year loan that concludes Sunday.
The Post said that the Brazilian forward will continue to be a Designated Player.
Navarro also has three assists in 20 games (19 starts).
Last season, Navarro had one goal and one assist in 10 matches for the Rapids.
Navarro has sparked Colorado, which ranks fourth in the Western Conference with 31 points. The Rapids visit Los Angeles FC on Saturday.
