The Texas Rangers recalled right-hander Grant Anderson from Triple-A Round Rock on Thursday and optioned third baseman Davis Wendzel.
Anderson, 27, went 0-1 with a 9.53 ERA in 16 appearances for the Rangers earlier this season after making his major league debut in 2023. In 13 relief appearances at Round Rock this season, he had a 2.77 ERA.
Wendzel, 27, made his major league debut in April and batted .128 with one home run and two RBIs in 27 games.
