The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. from the 10-day injured list on Friday.
Gurriel, 30, had been dealing with a calf strain and last played on Sept. 1.
The former All-Star is batting .274 with 17 homers and 70 RBIs in 125 games this season.
Gurriel is a career .278 hitter with 109 homers and 406 RBIs in 738 games with the Toronto Blue Jays (2018-22) and the Diamondbacks.
Arizona designated infielder Luis Guillorme for assignment in a corresponding move.
Guillorme, 29, appeared in 18 games for the Diamondbacks and batted .162 with four RBIs.
