Heavy rain in Paris forced the postponement of the final quarterfinal singles matches at the French Open on Wednesday.
Those four remaining matches – two for the men, two for the women – now will be played Thursday.
No. 1 seed Novak Djokovic of Serbia will face German Alexander Zverev, the fifth seed, on Thursday. Also meeting will be No. 4 Dominic Thiem of Austria and No. 10 Karen Khachanov of Russia.
The postponed matches on the women’s side feature a pair of Americans: 14th seed Madison Keys vs. eighth-seeded Ashleigh Barty of Australia, and unseeded Amanda Anisimova against No. 3 Simona Halep of Romania.
Halep is the defending champion at Roland Garros.
Weather is not expected to be a factor on Thursday.
The semifinals for both the men and women are scheduled for Friday.
