Angel City FC signed goalkeeper Angelina Anderson to a three-year extension Friday that runs through 2028.
Anderson, 23, has recorded 53 saves in 10 appearances since being drafted in the second round in 2023.
“Angelina is one of the most promising young goalkeepers in this league and we are excited that she has committed to stay with us for several more years,” sporting director Mark Parsons said. “It is critical that we continue to invest in talent on the field but also high character. Angelina is a special teammate for this group and we believe she can become an important leader.”
Anderson recorded her first NWSL shutout in her Sept. 1, 2023 debut, a 1-0 victory against the Kansas City Current.
