Utah guard Jaden Springer signed a multi-year contract on Sunday with the Jazz, who had brought him in on a 10-day deal on Feb. 20.
Springer, 22, is averaging 3.5 points, one rebound, 1.3 assists and 8.8 minutes in four games with Utah. He played 26 games earlier this season for the Boston Celtics and averaged 1.7 points and 5.4 minutes off the bench.
His career averages are 2.7 points, 1.3 rebounds and eight minutes in 97 games (four starts) with the Philadelphia 76ers (2021-24), Celtics (2024-25) and Jazz. Springer has played in 13 playoff games, including four last season as the Celtics won the league championship.
The 76ers selected Springer with the 28th overall pick of the 2021 NBA Draft out of Tennessee. They traded him to Boston on Feb. 8, 2024. The Celtics dealt him to the Houston Rockets on Feb. 6, and he was waived the same day.
