Minnesota forward Taylor Heise scored 16 minutes into overtime, giving the Frost a 4-3 win over the Toronto Sceptres on Wednesday in Saint Paul, Minn., and sending the defending PWHL champions back to the championship series.
The Frost wrapped up the best-of-five semifinal series in four games. Minnesota now awaits the conclusion of the other semifinal series, in which the Ottawa Charge hold a 2-1 lead on the Montreal Victoire.
