Team Spirit won the Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2025 championship Saturday with a 3-0 sweep of Team Falcons in the grand final in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Spirit collected $1 million and 1,000 EWC club points with three straight wins on green in 40 minutes, 40 minutes and 35 minutes. Falcons pocketed $500,000 and 750 points for second place.
The championship Spirit roster featured Russians Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov, Denis “Larl” Sigitov, Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov and Alexandr “rue” Filin along with Ukraine’s Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk.
The last day of the $3 million tournament began with PARIVISION sweeping Tundra Esports 2-0 to claim third place. PARIVISION also found success on green, winning in 48 and 35 minutes.
The Esports World Cup marked the final championship of the third season of the ESL Pro Tour.
