The Los Angeles Gladiators have signed Finnish main tank Roni “LhCloudy” Tiihonen to their 2020 Overwatch League roster.
LhCloudy played for Paris Eternal during Season 2 and previously played for Gigantti of Contenders Europe along with Mayhem Academy. The 20-year-old was one of four players released by the Eternal after last season, but will now join Son “OGE” Min-seok as one of the Gladiators’ main tanks.
“Weather report is saying it might be kinda @LhCloudy,” the Gladiators tweeted. “Please welcome @LhCloudy to Gladiators!”
Los Angeles was seeking another main tank after releasing Gye “rOar” Change-hoon.
“Extremely excited to join Glads for this season With this Very stacked Roster,” LhCloudy tweeted.

The addition of LhCloudy continues a busy offseason for the Gladiators. OGE was acquired from the Dallas Fuel last month in exchange for Jang “Decay” Gui-un. The team has also parted ways with Joao “Hydration” Telles, who has since signed with the Houston Outlaws, and Lane “Surefour” Roberts, who is now with the Toronto Defiant.
In addition to LhCloudy and OGE, the Gladiators have added DPS Kim “birdring” Ji-hyuk and off-tank Indy “SPACE” Halpern along with Aaron “Bischu” Kim, who rejoined the team after spending Season 2 with the Guangzhou Charge.
