Deni Avdija registered 26 points, six assists and five rebounds as one of eight Portland players scoring in double digits to help the Trail Blazers rout the visiting Golden State Warriors 139-119 on Friday night.

Jerami Grant scored 22 points off the bench and Toumani Camara had 19 points, seven rebounds and three steals as Portland snapped its nine-game losing streak against Golden State.

Shaedon Sharpe scored 17 points and Donovan Clingan added 14 points and eight rebounds for the Trail Blazers.

Portland’s Tiago Splitter became the first Brazilian to coach an NBA game. He is running the team on an interim basis after Chauncey Billups was placed on leave after being arrested Thursday as part of an FBI gambling investigation.

Stephen Curry made seven 3-pointers and scored 35 points before exiting with 9:21 remaining for the Warriors, who lost for the first time in three games this season. Curry scored 42 one night earlier when Golden State recorded a 137-131 overtime win over the visiting Denver Nuggets.

Jonathan Kuminga had 16 points and eight rebounds, Jimmy Butler III added 14 points and Draymond Green put up 12 points for the Warriors. Golden State sabotaged itself with 25 turnovers.

Well-rested Portland sped the game up against a Golden State squad that lacked similar energy on the second end of a back-to-back. The Trail Blazers scored 41, 34 and 36 points over the final three quarters, and their lead topped out at 25.

Kris Murray scored 13 points, Jrue Holiday had 12 points and 11 assists and Matisse Thybulle added 10 points for Portland, which shot 53.8% from the field and made 16 of 34 (47.1%) from 3-point range.

The Warriors shot 43.8% and were 16 of 38 (42.1%) from behind the arc.

Golden State trailed 89-80 after two free throws by Curry with 5:34 left in the third quarter.

Camara then scored eight straight points on a layup and two 3-pointers to give the Trail Blazers a 17-point advantage with 4:39 remaining in the period.

Portland was ahead 101-83 after a basket by Blake Wesley with 3:01 left in the third before the Warriors ran off eight straight points. Clingan slammed home a dunk with 19 seconds to go, and Portland led 103-91 entering the final stanza.

Clingan’s three-point play made it 128-104 with 5:30 left, and the Trail Blazers cruised to the finish.

Avdija scored 20 first-half points and Grant added 17 as Portland led 69-56 at the break. Curry had 24 in the half for Golden State.

The Trail Blazers exploded with 9-of-11 3-pointing shooting during their 41-point second period.
