Cade Cunningham recorded 29 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds and the Detroit Pistons won their 12th consecutive game with a 129-116 victory over the host Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night.

Jalen Duren scored 19 points and Tobias Harris added 18 as the Pistons halted a 13-game skid against the Bucks. It marked just the second time in the last 27 meetings that Detroit beat Milwaukee.

Duncan Robinson had 15 points on five 3-pointers and Jaden Ivey scored 10 points off the bench for the Pistons, who have won 14 of their first 16 games this season.

Ryan Rollins had 24 points and seven assists and Bobby Portis Jr. added 18 points and seven rebounds for the Bucks, who lost their fourth straight game. Star Giannis Antetokounmpo (groin) missed his second straight contest.

AJ Green had 15 points on five treys, Kyle Kuzma scored 13 points and Myles Turner had 11 for Milwaukee.

Detroit shot a torrid 62.8% from the field, including 16 of 30 from 3-point range. Cunningham and Harris each made three treys.

Milwaukee shot 51.2% from the field and was a solid 20 of 43 from behind the arc. Portis made four 3-pointers.

Detroit held a 17-point halftime lead before growing the lead to 29 less than four minutes into the third quarter. Robinson and Harris drained 3-pointers to cap the quarter-opening 18-6 run and give the Pistons an 87-58 advantage.

Milwaukee cut its deficit to 104-85 entering the fourth quarter and was down 17 early in the stanza. Yet Detroit responded with seven straight points and Cunningham’s dunk made it 117-93 with 6:43 remaining.

Duren’s two free throws with 2:03 left gave the Pistons a 127-106 advantage and they finished off the long-awaited victory over the Bucks.

Cunningham scored 15 first-half points as Detroit led 69-52 at the break.

Milwaukee led by one early in the second quarter before the Pistons ripped off 14 straight points to take a 46-33 lead. Daniss Jenkins and Green each scored seven points during the run.

The Bucks later pulled within 52-47 on Kuzma’s trey with 3:29 remaining. The Pistons answered with a half-ending 17-5 burst to hold the 17-point lead.
